Seriously?
A side point: Because this is still an earlier post I will refrain from spelling "seriously" as "Sirius-ly." "Haha you are so witty Sam" I'm sure many of my well versed Potterheads are saying; however, for my less fortunate readers, this is funny, or rather punny, because Harry's godfather's name is Sirius Black.
Which brings me to my next point: I will start every blog with some fact about the series. Readers, please do not argue with me I have read the books time o' plenty- and if you think I have something wrong-for example reference a character mentioned only in the books and not in the movies-please I urge you to pick up the books.
And now for some content.
As I'm sure I have made obvious by now, I am a HUGE HP fan (we call ourselves "Potterheads"), and therefore cannot imagine how people find flaws with the Queen (JK Rowling)'s masterpieces. However in my research I have found people who will argue otherwise; saying that the series and the fanatics it has created are flawed....SIRIUS-ly?
While I may disagree with them, I look forward to doing more research on opposers-Death Eaters I shall call these 'opposers'-opinions.
That's all for now...

Preliminary bibliorgraphy
Though only a few days into my research I have, much to my delight, sources which greatly contribute to my topic: Harry Potter's impact on children's reading. Though the idea is broad I hope through extensive research I will be able to draw some sort of novel conclusion.
So, although I am lacking some of the "required" sources, here it is:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/11/arts/11iht-11potter.6606863.html?pagewanted=all&_r=1&
http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/features/essays/issue10/Literacy
http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0502/p13s01-legn.html
http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304584004576419742308635716
http://burkeanreflections.blogspot.com/2007/07/harry-potter-having-limited-effect-on.html
These links all contain some sort of essential information in the progress of this research. Some say there is a negative effect and some a positive one-and I can't wait till I decide which it truly is (hopefully my bias won't be too much of a factor.)
Thesis hopefully coming sometime in the ensuing days.

I am a liar
After not being content with the idea of writing about MCS I have chosen a new topic: Harry Potter and its influence on children's reading habits.

Raniel Dosen and the Second Blog Post
Because I still have nothing of substance to write for my "leads" project (random person in Scandanvia who follows me: any ideas?) I will now continue discussing the Harry Potter topic which I presented in 1st blogpost. Upon receiving indication that his prized student Lord Samuel, had created a blog, my teacher, who shall be known from here on in as Raniel Dosen (for security purpi [the plural of purpose]), read the first entry. He sat by his computer bewildered by what he had just read; he smiled at points though unsure why-"surely it was humorous," scratched his head at others-"is my prized student really that into Harry Potter," and disappointed at most-"still nothing to write about, common!" Mr. Dosen then approached me about this obsession "you think you're funny don't you, well to me you're just messed up. You should see a doctor." Truthfully I just wanted to be entertaining and write about something I'm passionate about.
Hey! thats an idea maybe ill write about humor...TBD

Lord Samuel
Its 11:15 I've been sitting around wondering (I never know if its wondering or wandering) what I should write about. I spent about an hour creating a name: what would be slightly comical and also relevant. Me, being the Harry Potter fanatic that (or as we like to call ourselves 'potterheads') that I am wanted to draw some parallels between The Queen's (JK Rowling) magical world and myself. I've always wanted to pull the "Tom Marvolo Riddle" into "I am Lord Voldemort" thing with my own name. (Also my friends [and by friends I obviously mean I] call me "Lord Samuel"). So, I entered just that into Google: "how to scramble words into other words" (very sophisticated, I know). Wordsmith.org came up with a plethora of options, ranging from "Nuclear Ho Slim" to "Camel Rush Lion"; I went with "Male Crush Lion."
For the URL I figured I may as well keep the theme going. So I tried TheDarkLord, TheDorkLordSam, hell I even tried Samuelrochlinthedarklord, all of these were taken so I had to settle with TheDarkLordMas, Mas obviously being Sam backwards.
Alright still thinking of a topic....
